1. Who holds your data

2. What you give us
The registration form asks for your name, email address, employer, job title, country and attendee type, and optionally your phone number, dietary requirements and any note you add. Media and regulator applicants also give the details their accreditation needs. We use it to process your registration, issue your invoice, send you conference communications, produce your badge, and welcome you on site.
It is shared with the co-organising associations and with the venue only as far as running the conference requires. Delegates who sign in can see one another’s name, employer and job title in the delegate list, and can message one another; nothing else you submitted is shown to them.
3. Cookies and measurement
Some cookies are needed for the site to work at all. They keep you signed in to the delegate area, protect the forms, and remember the answer you give below. They carry no advertising value and cannot be switched off without breaking the thing they support.
Everything else is advertising and measurement, and none of it loads unless you agree. If you agree, the site loads Google Tag Manager, which our campaign agency uses to run:
- Google Analytics 4 — how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where they are.
- Meta pixel — measures the conference advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and builds the audiences it is shown to.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — the same, for advertising on LinkedIn.
These are run by Google, Meta and LinkedIn, who process the data on their own infrastructure outside North Macedonia, including in the United States, under their own terms.
4. Where the tags never run
Measurement is switched off entirely on the pages whose address identifies a person: the badge page a delegate’s QR code opens, the bank instructions issued against a registration, the signed-in delegate area, and the organiser’s admin pages. Those addresses are the credential, and handing them to an advertising network would hand over the credential with them.
When a registration completes, the site tells the tag manager that one did, and which type it was. It does not send your name, your email address, or the identifier of your registration.
5. Changing your mind
Declining costs you nothing on this site — every page, the registration form and the delegate area work exactly the same. You can change your answer whenever you like: . Withdrawing consent reloads the page so that anything already running stops.
6. How long we keep it
Registration and invoicing records are kept for as long as the organiser’s accounting obligations require. Everything else tied to the event is kept while it is useful to running it and to inviting you to the next edition, and can be deleted sooner on request.
7. Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to a particular use of it — including conference mailings, which every mailing can also be unsubscribed from. Write to registration@microbalkans26.com and we will answer. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
